It was my plan today to do a photoshoot of my own little star...but I guess it went a little differently than expected when he picked out the props! And I guess the very best pictures are exactly that...letting them be who they are!

Well, I'm still waiting on Light Room 3....BUT, So excited to now be sporting a new 50mm lens on my wonderful Canon! Love the differences already!! So excited I can take pictures in lower light and love the extra blurry backgrounds! The lens arrived later in the afternoon, so I unfortunately only had a few day light hours to practice! Tomorrow, my poor child will be put on the spot! Until then, enjoy this little sweetie!

So excited ... My wonderful husband, who I completely do not deserve, surprised me on Thursday w/ this ...WAHOO! Feel so completely blessed and am excited to play around with my new lens and editting program!! I'm getting very excited for some upcoming shoots I have lined up ... excited to meet some little ones and to photograph a beautiful prego mommy! :)

Little Miss Joy

2 Years old and such a little sweetheart!! Loved her pink cowboy boots! Fits her personality perfectly!! (hoping to adjust some of the coloring with Light Right 3 soon!!)
